Our Approach

Our therapists are trained in evidence-based models including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). IFS helps you understand and heal the wounded parts of yourself that drive anxiety, self-criticism, and old trauma responses. EFT is powerful in individual therapy for making sense of your attachment patterns and how you connect with others. ACT helps you stop fighting difficult thoughts and feelings and start moving toward the life you actually want.

Together, these approaches let us tailor therapy to you, whether you're working through past trauma, navigating anxiety or depression, or learning to relate to yourself with more compassion. We are focused on helping you flourish in your personal, relational, and professional life

Invest in Yourself

Taking the step toward individual therapy is an investment in living with greater confidence, balance, and fulfillment. Whether you seek support for immediate challenges or ongoing personal growth, we are here to guide and support you every step of the way.

How much is individual therapy?

For a 50 min session, price depends on the therapist you are working with. Intern therapists charge $5-$55 based on household income. LMFT-Candidates charge $135 and our LMFTs charge $145. Additionally, our LMFT-candidates and LMFTs offer sliding scale rates based on availability.

Do you take insurance?
We are a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. We can provide a Superbill for most services which you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients find that private pay offers benefits insurance doesn't: no required diagnosis on your record, no session limits, and complete privacy.

What will I talk about with my therapist?

Whatever you would like to! Our therapist will also help you understand what topics, behaviors, or patterns may be helpful to explore based on the unique goals you have.

How often will we meet?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which builds momentum early on. As you progress, many move to biweekly and eventually once a month before graduating therapy. If you need a different frequency based on your needs, your therapist is happy to work to accommodate your needs.

How long does therapy take?
It depends on your goals. Some clients feel meaningful relief in 8–20 sessions; others working through deeper trauma or long-standing patterns choose to work together for longer. We'll check in regularly about your progress and see what works best for you!

How do I find a therapist that is a good fit for me?

We look forward to getting to talk with you!
