Our Approach
We believe that everyone is searching for a place of belonging and connectedness, within families, romantic relationships, friendships, and themselves. Life's daily stressors, relational conflicts, and mental health challenges can shake our sense of self and leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or isolated. These experiences can make it difficult to feel safe, understood, and connected.
That is why our therapists are highly trained in couples therapy and relationship issues. They have specialized experience in attachment trauma and betrayal trauma, the deep wounds that so often sit beneath disconnection. At any stage of your life and relationship, our mission is to walk alongside you as you navigate these challenges. We provide a safe, welcoming, and empathetic space to explore your experiences, heal past wounds, and cultivate the growth and change you hope to see in your life.
Why Trellis?
A trellis is a supportive structure that helps a plant to not only grow, but flourish. At certain points in our lives, we can find ourselves needing additional support. Often times, therapy can be the source through which we receive the support necessary to flourish.
Our team of therapists would be honored to walk alongside you whether you are navigating relationship strains or need individual support. Trained in marriage and family therapy, our team specializes in couples therapy and relationally oriented individual therapy.
For couples, that often means working through communication struggles, betrayal trauma, or the painful uncertainty of considering divorce. For individuals, it may mean finding relief from anxiety, healing from past trauma, navigating the demands of parenting, or making sense of complicated relationships.
Whether you're seeking couples therapy or support just for you, there's a therapist at Trellis ready to meet you where you are.
Meet Our Team
Individual
Therapy
If you are searching for a place that is just for you, Individual Therapy might be what you are looking for! Whether you are experiencing mental health challenges or navigating daily stressors, Individual Therapy can provide you with the space you desire in order to see change and healing in your life.
Couples
Therapy
Have you and your partner been feeling disconnected? Are you unsure how to get out of the negative interactions you all find yourself in? Couples Therapy may benefit you and your partner as you hope to strengthen your relationship and heal from the wounds that hinder you from feeling safe and secure with your partner.
Premarital
Counseling
Premarital Counseling gives couples the opportunity to slow down, ask important questions, and build a strong foundation before saying “I do.” Whether you are newly engaged or considering marriage, investing in this process can help you cultivate curiosity, authenticity, and relational health that will last for years to come.
Discernment
Counseling
Discernment Counseling is ideal for couples who are uncertain about the future of their marriage. It’s not about fixing every problem or immediately changing the relationship; instead, it provides a structured, supportive process to explore whether repair is possible and what next steps feel right for both partners.
Intensives
Sometimes a weekly therapy hour just isn’t enough. When couples are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or in need of a breakthrough, a Couples Therapy Intensive offers the time and space to go deeper. At Trellis Therapy, we provide 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day Intensives that allow couples to step away from the distractions of daily life and focus fully on their relationship.
Reduced Rate Therapy
Access to therapy should feel possible and within reach. At Trellis Therapy, we offer low cost therapy and counseling services in Oklahoma, virtually and in person in Edmond, through our graduate intern program. Sessions are offered on a sliding scale based on household income, with fees ranging from $5–$55 per session.
Clinical Supervision
Beginning your journey as a therapist is both meaningful and challenging. The early years of clinical work often bring excitement, uncertainty, and a deep desire to grow in your skills and professional identity. Supervision is available for LMFT Associates/Candidates and graduate student interns pursuing a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
