Affordable Therapy

Access to therapy should feel possible and within reach. At Trellis Therapy, we offer affordable therapy and counseling services in Oklahoma, virtually and in person in Edmond, through our graduate intern program.

Our intern therapists are master’s-level students in Marriage and Family Therapy programs who are completing the clinical portion of their training. They work under the supervision of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, ensuring that clients receive supportive, thoughtful care.

Sessions are offered on a sliding scale based on household income, with fees ranging from $5–$55 per session, helping make therapy more accessible for individuals, couples, and families seeking support.

What Experience Do Interns Have?

Intern therapists are graduate students completing the clinical portion of their Marriage and Family Therapy training program. They have completed a significant amount of coursework in therapy theories, ethics, and clinical practice, and are gaining hands-on experience working with clients.

Interns at Trellis Therapy work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, offering a wide range of support while under supervision. Many clients find that interns bring fresh perspective, energy, and careful attention to their work.

Supervision & Clinical Support

All intern therapists at Trellis Therapy work under the supervision of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Supervision provides interns with ongoing guidance, consultation, and support as they work with clients.

This means your care benefits from both the dedication of the intern therapist and the experience of a licensed clinician, helping ensure therapy is effective, supportive, and tailored to your needs.

Why Clients Choose to Work with an Intern

Working with a supervised intern can be a meaningful and supportive experience. Clients often benefit from:

Accessible and affordable therapy
Sliding-scale fees make counseling possible for individuals, couples, and families, who might otherwise be unable to access care.

Thoughtful and attentive care
Intern therapists are actively learning and growing, often bringing a high level of presence, preparation, and curiosity to sessions.

Collaborative clinical support
Because interns receive regular supervision, your care benefits from multiple perspectives and professional consultation.

A supportive environment for growth
Sessions provide a safe, welcoming space to explore challenges, build skills, and strengthen relationships.
